NC Wrestling United is the statewide wrestling ecosystem built around one core principle; the athlete comes first.
NCWU was created to support and empower young wrestlers to reach their full potential so they can in turn do the same for the next generation. The foundation of our work is built on a clear belief: wrestlers grow to higher levels when the environment around them is structured to support their development, provide opportunity, and connect them to meaningful experiences.
We strengthen these environments, expand access across the state, and build the pathways and resources athletes rely on to advance.

How We Strengthen, Not Replace
NC Wrestling United is not a club, team, or training business. It does not replace school programs, local clubs, or the coaches who lead them. NCWU does not operate with exclusivity, does not pull athletes away from their home programs, and does not centralize control of wrestling in North Carolina.
We strengthen the environment around every program, expand statewide opportunity, integrate college and national connections, support families and coaches, and reinforce the advancement structures that benefit every athlete in the state.
